Recently I found someone use below formula to change calendar to Chinese Lunar Calendar in Excel 2007 ( some words are in Chinese Characters), but some date cannot be changed.

=TEXT(A1,"[$-130000]yy年m月"&IF(LEN(--TEXT(A1,"[$-130000]dd"))=1,"初","")&"d")

It is similar to the self defined date format [$-404] use in Tai Wan Excel Version. Anyone know where I can find the description for format [$-404] and [$-130000] ?

Thanks
Emily

Most likely [$-13000] is LCID similar to [$-404] but it is not in the list

I don't know where you can find a list, but if you do a Format>Cells>Date and pick from Locale (location) list and then goto Custom, you can find the number applicable.
