Import pictures from a directory into word

I am trying to import files contained in a a directory into Word 2003 and to resize them so that I get 4 to a page with photograph 1, Photograph 2 etc., under each one. The pictures would be in a folder on an SD card.

So the process would be:
Open template
Template asks for directory where images are located to be selected
Then imports the pictures sequentially until there are no more in the directory putting Photgraph 1, 2 etc., under each picture.

I have been looking at using Inlineshapes etc., but cannot get the logic right. Has anyone done this that can show what the code should be?

Hi John,

If you set the page up with a two column layout, each inserted pic should resize to fit within the column width upon insertion. That should be enough to ensure you can get 4/page - unless, maybe, you've got two portrait-format shots in the same column. Captioning is then all that remains to be done - a trivial task.
