Solved: Any way to retrieve deleted file

Hi all,

An excel file was deleted accidentally. Is there any way to retrieve it. I have Windows Vista Home edition, I check the recycle bin, it's not there. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have use Free Undelete (http://www.officerecovery.com/freeundelete/) with success in the past. No adware, spyware, ect... Is free. I do not know if it is compatible with Vista...

This is usually something that you should setup before it happens.

Be sure that you do not install the program to the harddrive that contains what you want to retrieve. I put mine on a stick. You should not do any work on that pc until you try a restore.

I have used the simple and free REST25143 with good success on xp.
