It appears the maximum size of an access report is about 2 pages long. :mkay Is there any way to increase this max? I have a report that has lots of dialogue (policy and procedures, privacy practices, etc) that is 7 pages long as written in Excel. I'm trying to recreate it in Access. Help?

This isn't correct- I've run a couple of 20 page reports.

Take a look at the Northwind Database (the example database that comes with Access) the Catalog report runs in at 9 pages long.

It all depends on how you organize everything. Make good use of the many headers and footers available to organize your data. If you have a title page(s), put those in your Report Header.

You can also insert page breaks into the report, which will force data onto the next page. It's all a matter of playing around with the organization until you get exactly what you want.

I had a problem with this a few months back and what I found is that each page on the report let you go up to about 22 inches. But if you add the footers and headers like Cregan mentioned each header gets 22 inches, and each footer gets 22 inches.. so you can infinitely extend your report. I did find that certain queries bugged out a bit when they returned a value larger than 255 characters when in the footer/header.

If it has a lot of phrasing and paragraphs that are fixed into the report, mail merge is also an option. Just depends on how much of the report is fixed and whether it's an actual report or a formed document. Often that's what I've seen in my experience.
