Solved: Problem in importing excel file (error msg: Subscript out of range)

Hi,

I am trying to import an excel file into the Access file. Encounter error msg during the importing process. The error msg: Subscript Out of Range. Anybody know what does this mean? tks.:help

Are there any special characters used in your workbook?

This error can also occur sometimes when you're opening an Excel 2003 workbook in Excel 2007 using compatability mode.

Try selecting a range of cells from the workbook and paste them into a new workbook- see if you can import from that new workbook. If that doesn't work, then you may have some corruption in one of the workbook's cells that's keeping the import from completing.
