Personally, I have no idea, but if no-one responds, you might try PMing Malik641, he is a bit of an AutoCAD wizz.

The only thing I have been able to find is a company that converts 2d to 3d but needless to say they want some money for it. The problem I see is in 3d, it is hard to determine in which direction to go for the Z coordinate. How far.

I hate to say this but it may be better to bite the bullet and redraw all the elements from scratch in 3d. ouch that hurt to type.
