Solved: Problem with Long & Short Dates

Hi,

I'm sure I am missing something simple, but, I've checked everything I can think of with no results. I recently replaced my computer and reloaded my programs and databases. All the dates in my databases have gone to long dates even though it is set, in properties, for short date. I am using Access 2000. Any insight would be welcomed.

It was the regional and language setting in the computer and the way short date had been set up to display.
