Dear All,

I found the macro that highlight misspelled words by Bill Coan at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/HighlightSpellErrors.htm (http://http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/HighlightSpellErrors.htm)

I also found Batch Replacer plug-in from ReplSoft (http://www.replsoft.com/index.html) website that replaces a list of words based on the entries in a worksheet list.

I would like to extend Bill's macro and be able to do the hightlight function of Batch Replacer without closing/leaving my edited document, ie. reading column A of workbook "HighlightList.xls" and highlight all the words that appear in the workbook, in my current document.

Could anybody kindly assist?

Thank you in advance.

Check out this Kb Entry (http://www.vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=271).

All you need to do is fill the collection (WordCol) with the words you want to check for. You could loop through all the cells in a given Excel range if you wanted to.

Thank you DRJ.

Hans had helped me with the problem. Nonetheless, it is great to know there is alternative.
