Solved: Spelll error not working properly

My word files does not highlight any spell error when space is pressed after writing a word not found in dictionary. The highlighter starts working when Enter is pressed.
Also in the Tools\options\Spelling & grammar\Check spelling as you type is checked. But still the red wave line dose not start working till Enter is pressed once.
How to fix this error?
Also can I change the color of red wave underline to any other color say blue or green?

Under tools/options look at the "Spelling and Grammar" tab

be sure "check spelling as you type" is checked

also maybe "always suggest corrections"

And Thnaks Anne, the article at the given link has solved my problem.
I have unchecked the options as suggested in the Article and it worked.
