I am trying to find a formula/code which will reconcile amounts. i.e if i had two columns in an excel worksheet A and B which are debit and credit columns. If column A had values which were made up of several smaller values in column B , is there a way that i can tell excel to find and allocate those values? i realise my wording of this question might sound odd but i hopefully you can see past my obvious lack of excel knowledge and get the gist.
