Templates on a network location

Hi all,

I have some network templates (stored in a sharpoint document Library) which I wish to add some code too. Currently when a user opens the file and clicks on save it trys to save back to the sharepoint document library.

The first thing I want to do is to have the save or save as dialog box come up straight after the template is opened. (I managed to find this code in the forums)

The next thing I want to be able to do is designate the default save path to the users network drive. At the moment it is saving back the the sharepoint library. (My Documents has been remapped to this drive)

I did a quick search and couldnt find much on saving to a network path.

Any assistance would be great.

Which version of Word and which version of SharePoint? This post might help you:

Hi and thanks for the reply. I am using mostly word 2003 with some users having word 2007 and our sharepoint is 2007
