I'll admit to being a little lazy here, asking my question without doing much research beforehand (or this could be an early step in my research). But I'm pretty sure I can get a quick and correct answer here so I'm going to ask anyway.
I'm a heavy user of Excel 2002 and Word 2002 with a working knowledge of basic/intermediate VBA.
I need to start using Access (I'm looking forward to great fun, seriously) so I picked up the cheapest copy I could find without a ribbon, and it came with a purchase of Office Pro 2003, which was cheaper than any stand-alone copy of Access I could find.
Some of the other machines in the office have Word 2003 and Excel 2003, but I've never seen a reason to upgrade from 2002.
My question: if I just install Access 2003 and continue running 2002 versions of Excel and Word will I cause myself problems? Or should I upgrade Excel and Word to 2003 at the same time I install Access 2003.
I know this isn't a VBA question (but I will have them!). The people in the VBAX Excel and Word forums are really smart and give good advice, so it's logical to assume the same from the people here in the VBAX Access forum, probably even some of the same people. So I'm asking please and thanking everyone in advance.
Can/should I just install Access 2003, or should I also upgrade Excel and Word 2002 to 2003? :dunno
