Please see attached excel file for example,

I currently have a line (drawing object) which shows the goal line for my bar graph. In the attached file, the goal is 84.99%. This is a variable and I have to manually move the bar as this goal changes. I have multiple graphs and this is very time consuming. I have tried methods found here:

http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/AddLine.html
http://tushar-mehta.com/excel/charts...nes/index.html
http://www.andypope.info/charts/averageline.htm
http://www.processtrends.com/pg_char...ontal_line.htm

But most of them are for scatter type graphing data, and the methods that are not, just dont seem to work for the chart type I am using. I think my only option is to use vba to move the bar based on a value, please let me know if you can help.

Not sure what you need without looking into your charts in more depth. Typically, I use a named range for a chart's dynamic series. As the data changes, the data series is updated in the chart.

I have set the series in vba as in this link. http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=354580

Let us know if this helps or not.
