Hello,

I need to eliminate dups of current customers from a direct mailing csv list I just purchased for my area. I am pretty much a beginner when it comes to excel and I need to get this done asap. The first issue seems to be that the list I just purchased has all of the info in column A like this:

MS ,"NICOLE L XXXXX","NICOLE","L","XXXXX","XXXXX XXXXXXXXX PATH","","FARMINGTON","MN","55024","7066","753","F","Y","34","E"

instead of our current customer list in excel which has info broken down into coulmn B which is first name, column C which is last name, etc.

Is this going to be a problem for eliminating dups?

I would be pleased if I could match up a first name, last name, and city and be able to eliminate dups. Can someone point me in the right direction? I was curious if there could be a service where I could email someone both lists and pay to have the dups removed. Sorry for all of the stupid questions. This beginner needs some direction! :help

Look into using the Advanced Filter. No macro is needed.
