hi,
I hope to find some specialists in vba (vs. outlook) here:
Current situation: I want to export a selected outlook folder with all item (mails, documents, appointments and invitations) to a filesystem with the same name.
The first problem is that outlook allows 'special characters' (like \ : / ) and windows (of course) doesn't. I guess there is a 'function' like 'Replace' or something like that to replace this characters (: becomes - and so on). But my VBA skills are not that good.
The next point are the different kinds of items in that folder. A MailItem seems to be easy to export, but the worst cases are the doc-files or appointments/invitations.
...have someone an idea or solution??? :think: :think: :think:
