Solved: activeX textbox brackets showing up..

I'm not even really sure about this one, I apologize for lack of info butI have this form with activeX textboxes and it didn't happen til the other day when I was trying to work on something with it, but now everytime someone emails me the form and when I open it there's all this extra stuff on the form for each textbox such as:

for textbox1 - over the textbox it has {CONTROL forms.TextBox1\s}

I realize that to get those brackets to show up you do Ctrl F9...when I lock the document all of that goes away, but before the other day it didn't show up at all when I opened the document.

Does anyone know how I go about making it so all those brackets don't show up or point me in the proper direction or something?

Did you try tools-options.....view tab and see if field codes or something else has been checked?
