Hi there.

My current project is going south because every time i edit the access file gets bigger and bigger.

Its currently at 37mb 1mb zipped, when really there's nothing in it. It gets bigger when i add more text boxes and when i do something like add a button or macro it locks up the computer with a memory error. I've checked task manager and access is take up near 2gb of mem before it crashes.

This happens on several different computers.

Anyone got a clue whats going on here?

I've got the file in a 1mb rar if anyone would like to take a look.

Thanks,

Steven.

Have you run a compact and repair? Click Tools-> Database Utilities-> Compact and Repair Database.

Exactly what error message are you getting?

1. Try the compact and repair.
2. Are there any redundant object which you can delete.

Are you sure, Access is utilizing 2GB of RAM. It is a lot..? Does this happen, when you execute queries or as soon as you launch the .MDB file..?
