Master slide content to appear on selected slides

Hello friends,

I have a question on power point. I have a presentation with an opening slide, and closing slide, and of course 3 slides in the middle.

How do I place "a picture" in the master slide, in order for the picture to
only appear in the 3 middle slides only. Do want the shape to appear on the opening slide, nor the closing slide. How?

Either you can set the first and last slides to be 'Title' slides and make sure the graphics are not on the title master, or you can select the first and last slides, and select "Format:Background" from the menu and check the 'omit background graphics from master' option.
