Solved: Maintain Headers When Stringing Files Together

Inserting a file will use the properties of the document the file is being inserted into. The destination document overrides any incoming file.

I have responded in some detail back at Tek-Tips. My response code does NOT do everything you are asking about, but it may help to give you a start.
