Have a lott've people written this VBA ceritification? What happens if you pay and fail the cert exam? Do you have to pay again? How long does it take to prepare if your a beginner....I know excel inside out....just not VBA...

Im reading Walkenbach's VBA book....is that alright to read to write the cert exam?

The Training here was written by a panel, not quite ten of us. It was largely developed because there was no set standard as far as what was known, best practices, standards of knowledge, etc. If somebody said, "I know VBA", odds are you got somebody who knew how to record a macro. Well, I know VBA, and I don't know VBA. I am still learning. But, with standards we all can know to what level somebody speaks of when they say "I'm trained to...".

If you pay and fail the exam you have the chance to re-take it. You only get 2 chances. If you would like two more chances you must purchase the test again. There are 25 random questions, 18 of which you must get correct in order to pass. Upon successful completion of the test you will get a PDF copy of your certificate plus a mailed version, all at no cost to you.
