Im a graduate assistant with little or no VBA Macro experience I do however have some vb experience and I need help creating some macros.

Macro #1, Powerpoint 07
I need a macro to generate a header/footer in this format:

Top:
Date[Time] [Header (Anything I want)]

Bottom:
Filename & Path Page[Total Page] [Footer]

Any help would be appreciated, I've spent countless hours in Macro books trying to create them myself.

Macro #2, Powerpoint 07
I was wondering when you print 6 slides to a page if there was a way to trim out the white spaces to be able to print 8 slides to a page instead of powerpoint resizing them so that you cannot read the text. I was trying to save on paper and was wondering if any of you had a solution.

Thanks for any help, I really need Macro #1

I think you can get most of that for Macro 1 without resorting to a macro

1. Insert, Header/Footer, and check Date/Time, Slide Number, and Footer

2. Format the date the way you want, and put your header text into the Footer box

3. Click "Apply to All"

4. View, Slide Master and move the Date/Time and Footer boxes to the top where you want

5. Insert a Text Box and enter your FileName, etc, positioning it where you want.

6. Select Slide Master tab, and Back to Normal View

While in Slide Master view, you can also format the Placeholders for date/time, etc.

For Macro#2, I'll leave that to the real experts here
