View Full Version : Solved: Can't view tables/forms in DB

I have been asked to look into modifying a data base but for some reason I cannot see any of the tables or forms when I open the file.

I can view the forms individually. There are macros created to navigate throughout the file from form to form. On a particular for I can right click to go to design view, but I cannot view the list of all the forms.

The code is all unprotected so I can make any changes that are needed.

How can I bring up this information (refer to picture) for the data base?

Hi Jake,

Try going into Tools|Options|View and check "Hidden Objects"

Let me know if it works.

Tools is not shown. I tried to cutomize and make a new toolbar. I can add certain drop downs like File, but when I drag over Tools it will not add??

1. Did you try holding [Shift] when opening the database to bypass any startup options?

2. If unsuccessful, have you tried creating a new database and importing all objects?

I haven't tried either of those yet. I'll give 'em a shot tomorrow at work.

Holding down Shift when opening worked. :)

Thanks
