Dear friends i have have a worksheet with data which has daets ranging for many year. based on user input by month is it possible to filter it?
for example if the user specifies a period may 2008 to oct 2008 then it should fetch all these monthly data in respective sheets. is it possible?:dunno

what about showing them on one sheet only with the given criteria
try this file.
Put your data in sheet named database (start with range A1)
now run the query in sheet named query
press the Run Query button & see the records qualifying your query

I am not able to run your code, but after reading the code this is not exactly what i watn,
in my case the i have a user form from which i will be getting input as time period e.g may 2008 to oct 2008 , now i want all the months betwwen these two(including these) to be on separate sheets. hope you got my point

i have attached the sample sheet. using the column date the user will select the period and various sheets for each month will be generated between that period.
