Separating prices by month

Hi guys

In Column A I have prices for 15 years with the dates in Collumn B, Now I want to separate the prices by month...so all may prices go into the Column titled May,...and so on.
Since each month has prices for several years, it would be nice if there was some way to highlight that a 'new' yrs prices have started on the column.........eg.. in the beginning we have May 94 prices, then May 95 will start, if we could highlight that last cell of 94 that would be useful....

what do you suggest?

Amend to suit each month column
=IF(MONTH($B4)=6,$A4,"")
Conditional formatting for Year
=YEAR($B1)<>YEAR($B2)
