Hi all,

In my worksheet I have a validated list of pupil names that links to data for a graph of their progress. Select the pupil name and the graph changes. This works fine.

My question regards printing. At the moment I manually change click on the cell with the validated list, choose a name, and then print out that pupil's graph.

Is it possible to automate this process using a macro assigned to a button to cycle through each of the entries on the validated list, and printing the worksheet out each time? I.e. so that it prints all the pupils in one go.

When I try to use the macro recorder it doesn't seem to pick up the change in the validated list.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as my VBA is very limited.

Regards,

It is possible. If you could post an example workbook it would help greatly.

HI PT,

You're right, the change doesn't appear to Excel. A macro that sets the chart with each name and then prints it is what you need. It would, of course, use the range that feeds the Data validataion so any changes in the list would update the macro...

Tres simple, with an example.
