get date/time from remote server

I have an application that runs off deadlines. I had been using the system date/time off the users computer. But now some of them are merely changing the clocks on there PC to get around it.

Is there another option that I can explore?

Is this a "Split" database application with a front and back end?

If the database wasn't Split would the Form VBA pick up the Server's time or the Local PC's Time?
Can the Back End on the Server pick up the Server Time? If so you could store it in a table and continually update it to compare the User's time to the Server's time or pick it up for use instead of the User's time.
