Just thought I'd share this since it's the first good thing I've noticed about Windows Vista. I let a long loop run today without a DoEvents line. Since it was too late to think that one through, I went back to browsing the internet while Excel did it's thing. Vista will show you a small thumbnail of the program window whenever you put the mouse over a program's button in the taskbar. Interestingly, even though Excel was frozen and, as you'd expect, I couldn't call it up from the taskbar, the thumbnail showed the spreadsheet filling up with data in real time. Not sure how that works, but it's great for checking on the progress of a macro or something.
