Hi,
In the excel date format, i got the date in the following format in excel.
Thursday, October 01, 2009
But i want to show it like 01-October-2009, Thursday.
How can i do this

Give it a custome format of
dd-mmmm-yyyy, dddd

What you use is something like the following, where date is your date-variable:
Format(date, "dd-mmmm-yyyy, dddd")

Select the cell
Menu Format>Cells>Custom
Enter the text I gave.
