Solved: Filter Workbook when protection is on

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to filter a workbook when the tab is protected? Basically I want people to be able to filter but i dont want them to change anything! I have tried a few different things, including locked/unlocked row 1 where the filter is going to be on but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to by-pass this whereby i can protect a tab but also leave a filter in place whereby people can filter but not make changes?

You can set the protection to allow autofilter, it is one of the checkboxes in the protect dialog.
