Solved: Using A Date in DSum formula

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to include a couple of dates (upper and lower limits) in my DSum formula. See attached to understand what I'm doing. I'd swear that what I'm trying to do has to be possible SINCE IT SEEMS SO DARN SIMPLE. I'm just too dumb to get it to work.

Never mind, I figured out what I was doing. I had not included the date column as part of the database.
