Exporting Data from a presentation

Can I export the data from a power point Org chart to excel or Word? I have a cross-organizational org chart with several groups and almost 500 names. I want to get this data into excel without having to copy and paste each box in the org chart. How can I do that?

How are your vba skills?

Well, I'm using 2007, but it may have been created in 2003, I'm not sure.

Oh, and my VBA skills are minimal. I can record macros and tweak them, but my programming skills are very, very rusty.
