Hallo I need help.
I must merge the text of many documents (12 and more) in a new document preserving the same format (font and color);
Every line (to merge) begin with a progressive number and end with a paragraph.

The documents are in this form:
First document:
1 I am an italian student <c>a</c> (end of paragraph)
2 I am an italian boy <c>a</c> (end of paragraph)
3 text (end of paragraph)
4 text (end of paragraph)
5 text (end of paragraph)
6 text (end of paragraph)
till a certain number

2nd document and others document
1 I am a spanish student <c>a</c> (end of paragraph)
2 I am an spanish boy <c>a</c> (end of paragraph)
3 text (end of paragraph)
4 text (end of paragraph)
5 text (end of paragraph)
6 text (end of paragraph)
till a certain number

The new document is in this form:
1 I am an italian student (end of paragraph)
1 I am a spanish student (end of paragraph)
2 I am an italian boy (end of paragraph)
2 I am an spanish boy (end of paragraph)
3 text (end of paragraph)
3 text (end of paragraph)
4 text (end of paragraph)
4 text (end of paragraph)
5 text (end of paragraph)
5 text (end of paragraph)
6 text (end of paragraph)
6 text (end of paragraph)

Thanks for the help

Hi Pasquale,

If your source douments contain auto-numerged paragraphs, you'll have to either copy & paste them as unformatted text or convert the auto-numbering in the source files to manual numbers before copying. That's because Word won't support the kind of duplicate sequential numbering your target document requires.

Having copied & pasted the text into the target document, you may be able to achieve the remainder of what you're after by simply sorting the numbered paragraphs.

Hi macropod thanks for the reply.
My words documents hasn't auto-numerged paraghaphs.

There are a sequence of manual numbers and I could change they how I want.

thanks
