The sub forum "Office 2007 Ribbon Ui" and the "sticky" "2007 Compatibility" are a good start, but I foresee MANY more Win 7 type questions being posted in the future. I would like to see a single new forum to deal with these problems. Think about it. "2007 Compatibility" is already overflowing.

My 2 cents:
I have Win7 and Office 2007 and 2010 at work and frankly I haven't noticed too much. 2007 was a bear because of the ribbon. And Vista because of the permissions issue. So the transition to 2010 Win7 isn't going to be too different than Vista/2007.
The scenario I could foresee (right now) is issues with transitioning to 64 bit systems.

Dude vista and 7 brought a whole new world of hurt to those of us who use third party applications, vaguely remember even Adobe apps had initial issues. :old:

What I was thinking was that instead of titling it "Office 2007 Ribbon UI", we should maybe change it to "Office Ribbon UI". The Ribbon isn't going away, and is being treated much like the OM - it's getting slight revisions/changes with each new app version that comes out. The biggest change has been in Outlook (much needed), and I'm sure it'll change in the new Office.
