Path finder

I have from many years this utility that builds some buttons on my excel bar to run my macros. I have excel 2007. What happens is that after many updates of excel something happens in the path of the files because the utility is ever there, so the macro that I can ran in the traditional way, but the utility open a window where it is clear that the path of the macros is changed. Infact if I come back to the past point before the excel updates or reinstall Excel all work fine again.
Some help ?
