Solved: Conditional Formating for weekend

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to apply conditional formatting to column A:A so that all weekend (sat and sun) are set with red background as shown in the attachment..

Just use a conditional format with a formula of

=WEEKDAY(A2,2)>5

and a fill colour as desired.

I have used or and weekday for 1 and 7 to solve the issue..
