Using 2007

There used to be an easy way to make the bullet lines build during a slide show.

Slide appears <click>
Bullet line #1 appears <click>
Bullet line #2 appears, Line #1 dims <click>
Bullet line #3 appears, Line #2 dims <click>
etc.

As I recall, it was almost a single action in 2003, but I can NOT find it in 2007.

Is it there, and I'm missing it or did it get replaced with a more powerful but less easy to use feature?

Under the 'Timing' section, check the 'Text Animation' tab.

You can also click the 'Expand Contents' section underneath the animation for the textbox, and customize the entry by paragraph even further (if you want each one to have a different delay, or you want 2 paragraphs to come together, etc.)

I did not understand the difference between 'Animate' and 'Custom Animations'

I also didn't have the bullet list place holder selected, so naturally I didn't see the right option - duh
