Hi All,

Is it possible to find a workbook is available for editing. (in other words, how to find a workbook is currently used by other users) without opening the file.

You could use another workbook to count the number of times the initial (target)workbook was opened. Is that what you are after?

This is my requirement.

i wanted to write some data to a workbook without opening it through a script.

problem is multiple user access this file, we cannot add data if this file is used to by other users.

we cannot share this file, process restrict it.
