Lookup value in Table

Hi there,

I have a workbook named "Table" with 2 named worksheet as "Querysheet" and "Datasheet".

What I want to achieve is the user to input a value in "querysheet" to get respective value of period and % of deduction fro the datasheet.

Can anyone help?

Surely they need to input 2 criteria? Either the value and the period, or the value and the % reduction?

Also, as 11,900 does not appear in the table, what result do you expect and why?

My objective is to get return value in D6 & D7 with the input in D5. eg to find the period and % deduction for a value exact/nearest in the table.

The value to be get from sheet "datasheet" table. However the value input may not be exact as in the table.So to look for nearest value to return the result required.

And what is returned if there are multiple results? Certain numbers appear twice, and there must be many possibilities of "nearest".
I don't see any logic to your requirements.
