Shouldn't that be "Don't call me surely?" :)

I wasn't sure of the reference in Mark's post, hence my question. ;)

Who knows, maybe Mark meant:

You are winding us up surly!Which makes it an adverb, not a reference to a person, in which case the tenor (or alto) of the post changes radically. :) :D

"Shirley whacked"? Sounds rather immoral to me!

"Shirley is whacked", on the other hand would change the conversation completely.

She'll be sorely missed...Surely you don't mean Robert Sorely, do you? That would be BIG news, indeed.

Or do you mean all of us are off-target ?... You can hardly miss with that!

Zack Barresse

I dunno, did Shirley know Robert Sorely? Wouldn't THAT be something! :rofl

Surely, she couldn't miss Sorely that sorely, could she?

Two couples:

? Current neighbours (I don't know 'em personally): Glen & Glenrose Rose
? Ex-neighbours of many years back: Peter & Rae Gunn (you can bet the local kids had fun with that one)

Worked with a guy with the last name of Driver, and yes he did to. Bus, Taxi (or was that Cab?), Truck were his first 3 boys name. I heard later he had a girl I didn't ask. We kidded the guy so much about it that he brought their birth certs to prove it. :rofl

Someone should contact social services - that's cruelty to children surely!

According to a recent TV report (at least they stated it was true), a pair named their girl Rosa Schl?pfer, which means pink panties in German.

It gave them a good sense of humor, that had to be one of the happiest households I have ever seen.

Our French teacher at school wrote Richard Head in the top of anything handed in without a name...
