Hello everyone!
Here's a problem that's been bothering me for quite some time now. Since I can't figure out how to solve it, I trust someone here will know.
First, here's the scenario:
There are 4 columns - A, B, C and D. And let's see we're using just the first row of cells.
Value of B1 depends of the value of A1. Value of C1 depends of the value of B1. Value of D1 depends of the value of C1.
A1 is a drop down list of values (based on a named range).
The tricky thing is, B1 (based on A1 value) can be a single value or a choice of values.
The goal is to auto fill B1 if the appropriate value is in A1 or offer a drop down list if another appropriate value is in A1.
I haven't managed to find a function-way, so I guess VBA is the right way to go?
Currently, I've partialy solved this with named ranges and INDIRECT function, but when it comes to C1 and D1, it's really tricky, because C1 is always a drop down list and there are always not less than 20 values.
Also, it always requires B1 to be chosen from a drop down list.
Any idea/hint/solution is welcome! Thanks.
