Hi,
[This may not require VBA at all but I can't see how to do it in the GUI.]
How do I remove a style property so it inherits from the Style Based On style?
Example:
I have a Bold RedText Character style:
Default Paragraph Font + Font:Bold, Font color:Red
It is applied to various paragraphs with different coloured text. I want to modify it to just be bold and not to change the colour of the paragraph. If I change it in the GUI to Auto it becomes black.
I want it to be: Default Paragraph Font + Font:Bold
The obvious solution in this simple case is to create a new style without the font colour set and replace, but I've also had this problem with other more complicated styles. It is particularly a pain when the styles are used in Outline Numbered Lists.
Cheers
