View Full Version : [SOLVED] Hiding Rows with a special column? (Please see attached.)

On this worksheet on the left is a column that allows you to hide and unhide rows and leaves a + or a - to show if it is opened or closed. How is this done and how can I change the rows I want hidden?

That is outlining (Data>Group and Outline). You select the rows or columns to outline and group or ungroup them. They must be contiguous.

To change these, you must Select the columns that have that black line across them (all those in that group) and remove the group, then add another group seperately. You can keep adding groups. I've never had more than about 5 groups, so I'm not sure how many you can use simultaneously.
