Preview a document

hi experts, just want to ask..in excel it's possible to access and get some data in a closed workbook..

in word is it possible to preview a close document using an open word document thru vba.

Trying to uhderstans. You want to be able to use Preview (see it on screen as a Print Preview) without opening it? No, not possible.

Can you open a document (with VBA) and set it into Preview mode? yes.
