saving code in VBE window

Is there a way to auto save your code whilst you are working on it in the VBE editor?

Yes, you can select the project in Project Explorer, then click the save icon in the toolbar or menu File>Save, or Ctl-S

I think it's autosaved with the file, so just have the workbook save for autorecovery every x minutes, not forgetting to save as xlsm (not the default), under Excel Options|Save.
Under xl2007 in Excel there is no option to Autosave every x minutes.

Was having issues in 2003. PC @ work kept freezing, so I lost a lot of code. The WB autosaves but the code was lost when I had no choice but to cold boot :(

Had you set the autosave to save as .xlsm (not the default) in Excel's options as mentioned earlier?
