Hi
i need some help with a macro.
attached a sample of a text file.

i need that macro will insert in the the word "dim1","dim2" and so on
on the left
in the text file above each line that looks like "--------------------------------"

Why do you want to specifically use Excel for that matter? Seems to me like it would be much easier to do it with Word. If that's an option, let me know and I'll explain how to do it with word.
