Editing Text file

Hi Everyone,

Am very new to excel programming, dont have much knowledge and need some urgent help. Gotta write a macro to be able to edit a text file and save it. The requirement is like " There will be a text file with some attributes, need to change those attributes with the values that i ll fill in my excel sheet and save the text file with a unique name (that unique name will be one of the attributes)"
I will really appreciate your help..

Hi Kunal,

Are you trying to change the file's:
. name;
. contents; or
. system attributes?
Your post is by no means clear. What is in the file already? If it's not empty, does it have other data that must be retained. If so, is any of the existing data being replaced? Does any data need to be added to the start of the file, or to the end only?
