Click on yes/no drop down and an unbound field error appears. Any reasons?

I added code to a yes/no drop down list. When I click on either option it doesn't move in the textbox and also doesn't display the info box message. There is a message that is display : "Control can't be edited; it's bound to an unknown field" What does this message mean? And how can I resolve this issue for the selection to display when on yes a message is display and likewise on no.

The message sounds like you've misspelled the field to which you've tried to bind it.
