I have a text box in a Word VBA form that the user could list names in. I've set the text box to allow multi-line entry.

My question is...how do I get returns after each line when the information typed in is added to the document? I keep getting boxes in between the names instead. It looks like to only way to move to the next line in the text box is by using Shift+Enter or Ctrl+Enter. Either way, I get boxes instead of returns.

Hi Cheryl, :yes

Are we still talking ActiveX textboxes here?

I guess so because they are in the document.
You have Mulitline property set to true you say?

That's ok but do you also have EnterKeybehaviour set to True!?

If so I can put multiline text in the box and insert the text of the textbox after the main body like:
Sub Test()
ActiveDocument.Content.InsertAfter TextBox1.Text
End Sub

Enjoy! :whistle:
