VBA macros used update and transfer data from sql

Is it possible to incorporate VBA macros that update, transfer data from an Oracle/SQL based system and thereby extract automatically using ADO; to change the display of data onto on a dashboard which generates, automated and displays figures onto a chart? Can this be done? If so, how can this task be done?

Yes it is possible. But your question is extremely broad, involving many elements of VBA and Excel. You're asking for a complete application.
