Solved: new type of odbc connection

Hi all

I've a problem and would like some help

I have a table in MsAccess which is my data source that is accessed by many pcs through an odbc connection. Unfortunately I sometimes get the error "Too many active users" which may well be the case.

Could anyone please advise if I could create a new file format which allows unlimited odbc connections?
I would then convert the data in Msaccess to the new file format

the cheapest thing to do is move your data to SQL Server Express 2010. You have options there to configure connections, and if there are limits you can consider disconnected recordsets. .02 Stan

I have moved the data to an excel s/s and then used odbc to connect to it

Other than the excel needs to be saved to the same version as the odbc excel version, there has been no major issues
